Capturing a recording

1. Ensure you have a working connection as above

2. At the topbottom of the OrganAssist screen, click Library

3. Click the red Record button

4. Play the organ as usual

5. Click the Stop button when you’ve finished. You can stop after just one piece, or after a whole service. OrganAssist can detect periods of silence between pieces, and automatically cut up your recording into segments.

6. A new recording will appear in the Library, with a numerical “title” derived from the date and time. This can now be played back.

7. Set the correct title for your recording by double-clicking in the empty spaces under the Filename, Title and Composer headings and entering some text.

8. Allocate your recording to a folder by clicking in the empty space under the Folder heading and selecting a folder. There are standard folders like Hymns, Anthems and Voluntaries but also individual named folders for each person who may want to experiment.

9. Delete unwanted recordings by right-clicking and choosing Delete Track.
